Green Coating Lubricants

Our patented diglyceride lubricants are all natural products whose raw materials are not dependent on petrochemicals. The products are delivered to the papermill as a 100% active liquid and added the coating formulation as delivered.  

These products contain no water and are more effective than calcium stearate at providing wet-state lubricity. The diglyceride allows for paper mills to operate at higher coating solids without coating buildup. This significantly REDUCES the total drying ENERGY needed at the dry-end of the paper machine.

Diglyceride helps maintain uniformity of the coating, keeping it stable under high shear conditions.  It provides excellent leveling characteristics and hygroscopic molecules help provide water retention.  Each mole of diglyceride attracts 11-12 moles of water.
