Grand Opening of Bercen's Global Headquarters

Bercen Inc. was pleased to welcome honored guests, including Governor Bobby Jindal, local dignitaries, major customers, members of our Board, suppliers, vendors, partners, neighbors, friends, and members of the Bercen family to the grand opening of our new global headquarters in Denham Springs, Louisiana, on October 23rd.  

The new 13,000 square foot facility will allow for increased collaboration amongst our departments and much of the space will be dedicated to laboratories for Analytical Testing, Product Development, Wet-End Papermaking, Paper Coating and Paper Property Testing.  This Facility will enable Bercen to better fulfull our motto, "Where Innovative Solutions Begin."  Additionally, the office building brings together all members of senior management, supply chain managers, customer service, and production personnel to allow for quick and efficient decision-making and implementation.

The consolidation at the company’s principal manufacturing location here in Louisiana helps position Bercen for the future by becoming an even more cost-efficient operation and delivering maximum value to our customers.   The finishing touches are being completed now, but the work undertaken by our employees over the last couple of years to make the transition a smooth one was tremendous. In fact, last month Bercen received great commendations from an external ISO 9001-2000 auditor on our ability to maintain exceptional customer service and quality during this transition period. Some three years after the decision to initiate this dramatic step, we are pleased to take a moment to celebrate a new and exciting chapter in this, Bercen’s 51^st year of continuous operation. On behalf of the employee-owners, thank you for your support.
