Environment

Bercen, Inc., as a whole, and our employees individually, will actively work to protect the environment, create and maintain a safe workplace, and promote product stewardship. We express our commitment to the environment, health and safety protection by the following policies: Sound environmental practices will be adopted and implemented to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations. Cooperation with all levels of regulatory agencies will be enthusiastically pursued.

New production processes and chemicals will be evaluated prior to use, and current processes and chemicals will be evaluated on a continuing basis, to ensure that they are compatible with a healthy workplace and that no adverse environmental releases will occur.

Energy conservation will be practiced to conserve energy resources and reduce environmental releases associated with energy production. Recycling will be employed to minimize waste generation and maximize the use of natural resources. 

Employees will be educated in the Company’s environmental policy and trained in pollution control and emergency preparedness to minimize risks to themselves and the community. New products will be developed and quality improvements made such that our products are compatible with national environmental goals. Safe working conditions and a healthy work environment will be continually pursued throughout the Company’s facilities.
